Nate Smith
Born and raised in Paradise, California, country singer-songwriter Nate Smith began making music encouraged by a local church youth leader. Inspired by artists like Garth Brooks, Tom Petty, and Fleetwood Mac, he learned to play the guitar during his teenage years and moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 23 with the hopes of making it in the music industry. Even though he was able to land a deal with Word Records, Nate Smith's career failed to take off and he eventually went back home to California. After a fire burnt down his house in 2018, he wrote his breakout hit single "One of These Days," which went viral online and led to several TV appearances. Upon his return to Nashville, he scored yet another viral hit with 2019's "Wildfire" and signed with Sony Music Nashville for his major-label debut, the 2021 single "Raised Up." Only a year later, his song "Whiskey on You" entered the Billboard Hot 100 and rose to number 43. His next single, “World on Fire,” hit number 21 and was featured on his debut album, Nate Smith (2023), alongside his previous hit “Whiskey on You.” He released his next single, “Bulletproof,” was featured on his highly anticipated Through the Fire EP.
