Marius Bear
Swiss singer Marius Hugli, better known for his stage name Marius Bear, was born on April 21, 1993, in the city of Schlatt-Haslen. After dropping his construction mechanic studies in 2016, he began his career as a busking musician in Switzerland and Germany. His first EP, Sanity, appeared in 2018 and climbed to Number 36 on the Swiss charts. Only a year later, Marius Bear returned with his studio debut Not Loud Enough, which reached Number 20 on the Schweizer Hitparade and helped him win Best Talent at the Swiss Music Awards. Following a series of high-profile TV appearances and a string of well-received singles, he was chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with his track "Boys Do Cry." Included in the album of the same name, the song finished up in 17th place in the competition and was later released as a single, hitting Number 5 on the Swiss charts.
