Lil' Troy
Lil' Troy broke out of Houston's thriving rap scene in the late '90s with "Wanna Be a Baller," one of the few Houston-based songs to reach national audiences at the time. The song got Lil' Troy signed to Universal Records, which released his corresponding album Sittin' Fat Down South (1998). Years later, the rapper returned with Back to Ballin (2001) on Short Stop Records.
