Cachemire
French combo Cachemire play at the intersection of fiery punk and classic rock & roll. After debuting with 2014's Photochope-moi, the band dialed in on their sound with the 2018 follow-up Qui Est la Punk? Their third album, Dernier Essai, arrived in 2021 with a more stylistically varied sound.
Cachemire began their career in 2012 with a self-released, four-song EP, Blonde Box. Within two years, the group had signed with Parisian label Naïve, and in conjunction with Britain's Big Beat Records, they released their debut album, Photochope-moi, in 2014. Following a collaborative 2016 single with Dick Rivers and Didier Wampas called "Qu'est-ce qu'on attend?," Cachemire returned with their second long-player, Qui Est la Punk?, in 2018. Led by the 2021 single "Influenceur," their third album, Dernier Essai, boasted more complex instrumentation and a varied sound.
