Auch wenn die Stones noch so viele Platten verbuchen konnten, so ist es für sie kein Grund, ihren Fans gewisse legendäre Live-Auftritte vorzuenthalten. From The Vault - San Jose 1999 ist der letzte Abschnitt ihrer Konzertserie bei der No Security-Tournee, die sie 1999 quer durch die USA und Europa geführt hatte. Die Band, die es gewohnt ist, ganze Stadien zu füllen, wollte bei dieser Tournee in Konzertsälen menschlichen Ausmaßes spielen, aber vor immerhin 15.000 Leuten… 25 Jahre war es her, dass die Engländer nicht mehr in San José aufgetreten sind - und das Publikum reagierte dementsprechend. Eine tobende Menge in hellster Aufregung! Die Stones präsentieren hier eine große Auswahl ihrer Hits (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…), die ersten davon stammen aus den 60er Jahren und das geht dann bis ins Jahr 1997 mit Saint Of Me oder Out Of Control aus dem Album Bridges To Babylon. Ja, die Opis des Rock'n'Roll sind immer noch recht cool und ganz und gar entschlossen, ihren Ruhm nicht verblassen zu lassen. Auch wenn die Stones noch so viele Platten verbuchen konnten, so ist es für sie kein Grund, ihren Fans gewisse legendäre Live-Auftritte vorzuenthalten. From The Vault - San Jose 1999 ist der letzte Abschnitt ihrer Konzertserie bei der No Security-Tournee, die sie 1999 quer durch die USA und Europa geführt hatte. Die Band, die es gewohnt ist, ganze Stadien zu füllen, wollte bei dieser Tournee in Konzertsälen menschlichen Ausmaßes spielen, aber vor immerhin 15.000 Leuten… 25 Jahre war es her, dass die Engländer nicht mehr in San José aufgetreten sind - und das Publikum reagierte dementsprechend. Eine tobende Menge in hellster Aufregung! Die Stones präsentieren hier eine große Auswahl ihrer Hits (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…), die ersten davon stammen aus den 60er Jahren und das geht dann bis ins Jahr 1997 mit Saint Of Me oder Out Of Control aus dem Album Bridges To Babylon.
