The prolific André Rieu returns with his latest album, Roman Holiday, this time covering a plethora of well-known Italian melodies. The entire album was performed with the help of Rieu's own long-standing Johann Strauss Orchestra. Over the course of the record they touch upon opera arias such as Verdi's "Libiamo," popular Italian folk songs including "Mattinata" and "Arrivederci Roma," and, as ever, a waltz in the form of "Italian Capriccio."
