Dia
DIA, originally named DIAMOND, is a South Korean girl group created by MBK Entertainment in 2015. DIA is an acronym standing for "Do It Amazing," which showcases the group's philosophy. The original lineup included Eunice, Jueun, Huihyeon, Yebin, Chaeyeon, and Eunchae. Their musical journey began in September 2015, with the release of their studio debut Do It Amazing. Over time, members Seunghee, Eunjin, Jenny, and Somyi exited, while the group welcomed Eunchae in 2016, alongside the release of their mini-album Happy Ending (2016). The same year, they embraced the magical with the Harry Potter-inspired album, Spell. The group also experimented with subgroups BinChaenHyunSeuS and L.U.B. In 2017, the group welcomed even more new members, with Jueun and Somyi joining. That year, they also released the albums YOLO and Love Generation. Their 2018 release, Summer Ade, earned them their first music show victory on SBS MTV's The Show. In 2019, the group explored retro vibes with their fifth EP Newtro, and 2020 saw the release of Flower 4 Seasons. 2022 saw the release of the single "Rooting for You," issued shortly after Somyi's departure. Despite their contracts ending, member Yebin confirmed DIA's intention to remain together and continue music ventures in the future under different agencies.
