盧廣仲 (Crowd Lu)
Born July 15, 1985, Taiwan’s Crowd Lu, is a successful and award-winning presence in several different aspects of his home country’s entertainment industry. Though he was raised in a household overflowing with music and showed a precocious in that arena, he planned to study engineering in college. As a freshman, a severe accident left him hospitalized for a period of months. During his recuperation, he learned guitar and began writing music. He bilt a fan base playing in small venues. Winning various talent contests got him attention from the industry, and his initial singles were released in 2007. His 2008 debut album, 100 Ways of Living captured his gentle vibe and made him a mandopop superstar, winning Best Composer for the album’s title track, as well as Best New Artist, at the Golden Melody Awards. He put out three more albums over the next four years, and made his acting debut in 2013. He was cast as the voice of Baymax in the Taiwanese dubbed release of Disney’s Big Hero 6 in 2014. He starred in the 2017 TV series A Boy Named Flora, and earned a Best Leading Actor in a Television Series at the Golden Bell Awards the next year. He released the single ”In the Sky – Lately Version” in June of 2020.
