Jim Jones and the Righteous Mind
Along with Dave Fridmann, a producer named Jim Jones is credited with work on the 1997 CD entitled Souls for Sale by Verbena, a rock trio from Birmingham, Alabama, that has been compared to both the Rolling Stones and Nirvana. The Jim Jones credit does not appear to be a reference to the infamous poison-dispensing cult leader, always a possibility when it comes to this kind of somewhat cynical rock & roll. This is also not the Jones who plays guitar with Pere Ubu.
