Text in englischer Sprache verfügbar

With his viola and synth orchestrations and heady detours into the realms of space music, composer Harold Moses has created a bold and moving album. Some music is so moving that it stops you in your tracks. This effect might be called gripping, but the impact of Moses' music is actually a notch above; the listener can be paralyzed with awe or even lockjawed with joy. One dares not move -- or even breathe -- lest the spell be broken. This is such an album, as is his Prayers of the Soul; both retain their magic after repeated playings. Simply, this is the real thing, in the tradition of the best of Brahms, Beethoven, or in new age music, Georgia Kelly's Seapeace or Constance Demby's Novus Magnificat. But this music is also original, with gorgeous stings, dramatic orchestral treatment, heart-tugging viola solos, and perfectly placed space music effects. Brace yourself for a major journey; Moses has ably captured the plains of the soul.
