Lifesick

Lifesick is a Danish metallic hardcore group that pairs modern breakdown brutality with the uncompromising heaviness of Swedish death metal. Formed in 2015, Lifesick comprises vocalist Simon Shoshan, guitarists Nicolai Lindegaard and Nikolai Lund, bassist Jeppe Riis Frausing, and drummer Jeppe Løwe. Focusing on themes of mental illness and other personal struggles, the band found regional success in the extreme metal underground with emotionally potent and sonically unrelenting efforts like 601 (2015), Swept In Black (2018), and Misanthropy (2022). Inking a deal with Metal Blade, the group expanded its reach by releasing the 2024 Love and Other Lies EP.
