Las Villa
Colombian sister duo Las Villa rose to streaming success in 2019 with their engaging mix of R&B, trap, and Latin pop. They are known for singles like "Nadita" and the LAGOS collaboration "Cuerno."
Twin sisters Laura and Lucía Villa were raised in Bogotá, where they were schooled in music from a young age. Taking influence from acts like J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Rosalía, they developed a Latin pop style that borrowed from R&B, trap, and reggaeton, and they built up a following through social media platforms. Signing with Warner Music Latina in 2019, Las Villa made a strong debut with "Nadita," a slinky, melodic track that combined their myriad styles and was streamed into the millions. The reggaeton-heavy "Animal" followed later that year, and in 2020 they added to their success by collaborating with LAGOS on "Cuerno" and with Milky Woodz on "Mírame." "Caníbales," a collaboration with Beéle, arrived later in the year. The pair kicked off 2021 with yet another single, "Balada Para Perrear."
