Seit 2007 spielt die Berliner Band The Baseballs ganz klassischen Rock'n'Roll - teils als Cover bekannter Songs, teils auch mit neuen Eigenkompositionen. Zum zehnjährigen Bandjubiläum begab sich die Gruppe in die Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, in denen einst ihr Vorbild Elvis Presley aufnahm. Für die im Oktober 2017 veröffentlichte Platte The Sun Sessions nahm die Band ihre beliebtesten Songs (u.a. "Baby One More Time", "Born This Way", "Bad") noch einmal neu im Elvis-Modus auf und arrangierte sie dafür für eine Besetzung mit Gitarre, Kontrabass und Schlagzeug um.
