Much like the artist formerly known as Lil' Bow Wow, Zane ditched the Lil' and came into full form with The Big Zane Theory. While most of the content in his delivery is nothing new for the rap world, Zane's delivery is much more focused than his previous endeavors, which is something that could be accredited to maturity and experience over time. Strong production from Timbaland and Stevie J. helps further cement this sentiment, but there are also moments of predictability, most evident in the smooth R&B radio-friendly love serenade "Tonight I'm Yours," an obvious hit targeted toward reaching the TRL/Usher fans. The Big Zane Theory is an impressive release and a much-needed improvement, which is hopefully a sign of stronger things to come.
