When a recipe works, you don't change it. Listening to their joint album, you can feel that Rich The Kid and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have understood this. Nobody Safe is a great series of extremely raw, no frills trap tracks. A textbook case that shows that some rappers' studio work is instinctive and direct. Too much sometimes. This album, despite a few moments of grace, does not revolutionize the genre. It also has a strange flaw: that of featuring two rappers with similar voices. We can certainly distinguish them, but this brings a certain monotony to the project. Well, so much for the downsides... However, Nobody Safe is also populated with tracks that bring the whole thing up. In general, these are the ones that deviate from the simplistic trap patterns. Like Bankroll, produced by Budda Beatz. Perhaps the greatest concentration of melodic development lies here, with, Body Bag, straddling old-school structure and modern elements, and featuring Lil Wayne. Because yes, there are guests too! The boss of Cash Money Records, but also Quando Rondo and Rod Wave, on some tracks towards the end of the album, almost healing.
