2001 brachte die deutsche Popband Pur mit 20 Jahre eine Band eine Zusammenstellung ihrer bis dato erfolgreichsten Songs heraus. Die 20 Jahre des Titels sind dabei eher über den Daumen gepeilt: Die Gruppe kam schon 1975 unter dem Namen Crusade zusammen, benannte sich 1980 in Opus um, brachte 1983 unter diesem Namen ein Debütalbum heraus und änderte ihren Namen erst 1985 in Pur. Unter den 17 Tracks der Compilation befinden sich die erste Chart-Single "Lena" und bekannte Nummern wie "Indianer", "Abenteuerland" und "Ich lieb' dich (Egal wie das klingt)". Manche der Songs sind in Live-Versionen enthalten. 2015 wurde das Album anlässlich der Teilnahme von Hartmut Engler bei Sing meinen Song in einer Fan-Edition nochmal aufgelegt und um eine zweite CD mit weiteren 17 Stücken ergänzt.
