Beach Boys co-founder Mike Love is out with another seasonal album. After releasing a Christmas-themed record in 2018, 12 Sides of Summer is now on the menu. Love recorded a few originals (California Beach), a few Beach Boy songs and some covers as well (On and On and On by ABBA, Girl From Ipanema by Jobim, Summertime Blues by Cochran). Surf, sea and sun go hand in hand with the good-vibes barbershop quartet backing vocals and twangy guitars.
