Pure Love
Formed in 2011 by ex-Gallows frontman Frank Carter and ex-Suicide File and Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carroll, English-American indie rock outfit Pure Love swap the bleak and dissonant hardcore punk of their past for a sunnier, more alt-rock disposition that brings to mind the anthemic punk-pop of Gaslight Anthem and White Crosses-era Against Me! After inking a deal with Vertigo in 2012, the band went into the studio with producer Gil Norton to hash out a full-length debut. The resulting Anthems arrived in February of the following year.
