FendiDa Rappa

FendiDa Rapper represents Chicago's drill scene with antagonistic, no-nonsense rhymes. Str8 from Da Raq marked her commercial full-length debut in 2021. Her Cardi B collaboration "Point Me 2," an update of her 2022 hybrid drill/juke track "Point Me to the Sluts," cracked the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023. Although Fendi (born Jessica Angelique Oliver) started rapping in 2012, it wasn't until roughly a decade later that she officially released her music, starting in 2021 with the single "Prada" and subsequent mixtape Str8 from Da Raq. A series of loose tracks issued over the course of 2022 was capped by "Point Me to the Sluts," a track that circulated on TikTok and led to a deal with Giant Music. Fendi then linked with Cardi B for "Point Me 2." Issued in July 2023, "Point Me 2" quickly took off and became Fendi's first charting single, reaching number 82 on the Hot 100 and number 20 on the R&B/hip-hop chart.
