Suite à la publication de Scorpion en 2017, le rappeur canadien Drake s'est livré à l'exploration de ses archives personnelles pour revenir en 2019 avec Care Package, collection de dix-sept titres n'ayant jusqu'alors pas connu de publication sur album ou mixtape et datant pour les plus anciens de 2011. Si, parmi eux, beaucoup avaient servi de teasers pour différents projets, laissant perplexes de nombreux auditeurs quant à leur absence in fine des recueils du MC, fort est de constater que leur qualité aurait sans problème pu leur valoir une place sur ces derniers. Par nature plus varié dans ses sonorités que les derniers travaux en date du canadien, Care Package éclaire une partie jusqu'ici méconnue de son oeuvre et régale ses nombreux fans qui lui offrent un nouveau numéro un américain.
