Tripwire
Ever since he moved on from playing bass in a countless number of hardcore bands in Manchester, Tripwire started taking an interest into the scene of hip-hop and techno in 1994 before involving himself as a DJ. Eventually earning recognition as a skilled drum and bass producer, Tripwire debuted two singles ("Necessities"/"Raw" and "Survive"/"No Problem") in 1995 on Flex Records before forming Prohibition Records with renowned dance producer Sappo. On Prohibition, Tripwire would release a slew of singles for the next two years to come, including "Gangsta" (1996), "Crime Story" (1997) and "This Way/ The Sting" (1998) before Turmoil Records put out the "Fusion" single in 1998.
