Tom Cardy
Tom Cardy (born on June 12, 1994 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian comedian, musician and songwriter. Studying piano and percussion in his formative years, Cardy appeared on Australian performer Bridie Connell’s single "Armageddon (It On)" in September 2020. Rising to fame with his comedy sketches on Australian radio station Triple J, Cardy began producing parodies of well-known songs, gaining a loyal fan following online with his self-produced music videos. Known predominantly for his observational and cringe comedy stylings, his first single “Mixed Messages” appeared in July 2021, followed by his solo EP Artificial Intelligence, which debuted in the top 40 of the ARIA Albums Chart, with singles “Mixed Messages” and “H.T.C.Y.BH”, both ranking in the top 20 of the 2021 Triple J Hottest 100 countdown. Collaborating with Australian singer Montaigne, whom he had starred with in SBS television series Time to Buy, Cardy released “Red Flags”, the first single from his first full-length studio album Big Dumb Idiot, on December 9, 2022.
