Itz Tiffany
Afro-pop/dance-pop vocalist Itz Tiffany, born Tiffany Owusu in Ghana, counts Akosua Agyapong and Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, as well as Mary J. Blige and MC Lyte, among her inspirations. She released her first single in 2006 while still a teenager, and appeared on a string of tracks in collaboration with the likes of Castro, Jayso, and Sarkodie. In 2012, she released the single "Fake London Boy," as well as an EP, Press Play, with featured appearances from the likes of Copta and Mugeez R2 Bees. A year later, she was featured on Fuse ODG's single "Azonto," a Top 30 hit in the U.K. At that point in her career, that song provided her with the most exposure outside her homeland.
