Beatzarre & Djorkaeff

Beatzarre is the stage name of Vincent Stein, one of the best-selling producers in German history. Born in Berlin on October 10, 1983, he formed the pop duo Stonedeafproduction with vocalist Dag-Alexis Kopplin in 1999. The group shortened its name to SDP and released the debut album Räuberpistolen in 2004. SDP's popularity increased steadily over the next 15 years, eventually culminating in the chart-topping triumph of the band's first Number 1 album, Die unendlichste Geschichte, in 2019. Meanwhile, Beatzarre enjoyed a number of Number 1 hits as a producer, having made his production debut with a remix of Ich + Ich's "Geht's dir schon besser" back in 2004. Five years later, his popularity soared when he co-produced Fler's self-titled album, which charted at Number 10 in Germany and Number 14 in Austria. By 2011, he was producing platinum-certified albums like Ich + Ich's Vom Selben Stern and Culcha Candela's Schöne Neue Welt. By the decade's end, his collection of platinum-selling productions also included Arashi's "Face Down," Sido's "Bilder im Kopf," Nazar's "Zwischen Zeit und Raum," and Mark Forster's "Wir Sind Groß." Second only to Dieter Bohlen as Germany's best-selling producer, he focused once again on his own material during the early 2020s, teaming up with Djorkaeff to record the collaborative single "Sommer." Also featuring Lea and Capital Bra, the song was released during the summer of 2021 and became a hit in multiple countries, charting at Number 3 in Germany, Number 13 in Austria, and Number 20 in Switzerland.
