Andrea Nardinocchi

Andrea Nardinocchi found fame through his unique mixture of electronic sounds and beatboxing. Born in Bologna, Italy, he began making beats and instrument sounds using his mouth, while slowing adding other instruments and sounds from loop stations and synths to his music. He originally embarked on formal music courses at the Music Academy of Bologna, studying classical and jazz compositions before he moved toward the freedom that electronic music offered. This transition inspired his creative mixture of soulful beats and electronic melodies that dominate his sound. His first single, "Un Posto per Me," arrived in the summer of 2012 and he performed at the popular Sanremo Festival the following year. His debut album, Il Momento Perfetto, was released to critical acclaim shortly thereafter.
