Abel Balder
Gaining significant recognition for his instrumental beats, which had amassed an impressive 250 million streams over the course of his career, Amsterdam-born singer, guitarist and producer Abel Balder was approached by underground house duo ANOTR regarding a collaboration, where he contributed his distinctive guitar sound to their debut album, The Reset. Encouraged by their enthusiasm for his vocal skills, Balder took a leap and sang on a record for the first time, resulting in further collaborations with the duo including "Vertigo" and "Your Mind" in 2022. These tracks received critical acclaim, leading Balder to fully embrace his eclectic and distinctive musical style, which he channelled into singing and songwriting. Teaming up once more with ANOTR in November, third single "Relax My Eyes" climbed to number 41 on the UK Top 100 Singles Chart, further solidifying Balder's growing presence in the music scene.
