Aaron Smith
Aaron Smith was born in Chicago and began learning the piano as a child. He started writing music in the 1990s and produced and remixed tracks featuring the music of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige. His single 'Harvest for the World' in 1997 reached number 48 in the UK Singles Chart.
Smith is best known for his dance track 'Dancin'' featuring Luvli. The track was first recorded in 2004, but has enjoyed several resurgences of popularity since then as the result of remixes by different artists. 'Dancin'' first became popular in 2005 as the result of a remix by JJ Flores and Steve Smooth. It became a major club hit in Europe and was regularly played on dance radio stations. It entered the Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart at number 21 in 2006 and in the same year was remixed by Kronos.
Smith released the singles 'Don't You Know' in 2013 featuring Malik Hart and 'Going Round' in 2014 which featured D'Bora, but it was 'Dancin'' that again gained popularity in 2018-19 as a result of featuring in several Internet memes.
