In September 2019, less than a year before the death of famous Italian composer Ennio Morricone, the Spinetti-Ceccarelli duo, joined by the Belgian singer and whistler Chrystel Wautier, recorded this magnificent album in a studio. Doing jazz to Morricone's music seems to be an obvious choice for the two comrades whose talent and good taste deploy a sound fabric of great beauty in total respect of the composer's work. (Qobuz)
