Peppa Pig

Popular British cartoon character Peppa Pig made her musical debut in the late 2010s, performing popular tracks from her eponymous TV series along with new material. Peppa presented all-new songs for children on albums like 2021's Peppa's Adventures and the next year's six-song EP Peppa's Club.After releasing the series' main theme under Peppa's name in 2016, the show's creators gave the character a musical career of her own: 2019 saw "Bing Bong Zoo," an extended version of a popular song in the show, become Peppa's debut single. An interpretation of the show's 229th episode, "The Zoo," the track narrated a visit to the titular location, appealing to children with its catchy refrain and use of choral repetition. Voiced by English actress Harley Bird, "Bing Bong Zoo" appeared on Peppa's debut project, My First Album, which arrived in July 2019. With full-length versions of popular snippets from the cartoon as well as a wealth of brand-new material, the release became a hit amongst young children and landed at number 88 on the U.K. album chart.Given that album's warm welcome, the Peppa Pig team returned to the studio, this time with a ten-year-old Amelie Bea Smith as Peppa. They emerged with the nine-song Peppa's Adventures: The Album, which saw release in July 2021. The following July, the EP Peppa's Club: The Album offered six more original songs, including "Look in a Book" and "Our Big Day Out."
