Bozza

Bojan Ivetic, better known as Bozza, is a German rapper of Bosnian descent who came to the forefront of the German underground hip-hop scene through his evocative storytelling and his street-smart gangsta rap. Born in Hamburg to Bosnian war refugees, Ivetic was never one to follow rules - he dropped out of high school in eighth grade and soon began rapping with his friends inspired by the likes of Azad, Bushido, and Kool Savas. His first taste of exposure came through a series of features on Maxwell’s studio debut, Kohldampf (2017), which prompted a collaborative mixtape between the two under the name Chicken & Beer, also released in 2017. That same year, Ivetic dropped his debut mixtape, Haramburg, and an EP entitled Juicy. The trap-infused Thriller, his proper studio debut, arrived in 2018 and featured guest spots by Gzuz, Joshi Mizu, and Sa4. It was also his first charting effort, peaking at Number 74 on the German Albums Chart. All the buzz around the album led to a recording deal with Def Jam Germany, through which he released the 2020 singles “Unbekannt” and “Woher,” both of which entered the Top 10 on the German Singlecharts.
