Acting as if Mr. Oizo were born in the land of baguettes, Parisian house trio Apollonia get funky, and a little funny, on their 2014 effort Tour à Tour. Light tech-house tunes bleep and snap with clever little samples cut into the flow, and while it's hard to sing along with syllables, guttural utterances, and other flecks of speech, cool highlights like "The Benshee" certainly make one try. Somewhere between frivolous and filling, Tour à Tour is tech-house with style and mirth.
