Das neunte Album Myths of Fate, erschienen im März 2024, ist eine Jubiläumsplatte für Leaves' Eyes: Immerhin 20 Jahre ist es her, dass ihr Debütalbum Lovelorn erschien. Wobei die Gruppe auch diesmal wieder in leicht veränderter Besetzung auftritt: Mitgründer Thorsten Bauer ist nicht mehr dabei, stattdessen sind Gitarrist Luc Gebhardt und Bassist Andre Nasso neu in der Band. Aber die Gruppe bleibt bei ihrem charakteristischen Symphonic-Metal-Sound, der sich erneut um die nordische Mythologie dreht – ob nun Krieger, Götter oder legendäre Schwerter besungen werden, die Gruppe packt die Geschichten in groß angelegte Hymnen, die vor allem von der dramatischen Stimme von Sängerin Elina Siirala getragen werden.
