Knapp drei Jahre nach ihrem dritten Album Märchen enden gut legt sie mit Eine neue Zeit die nächste Produktion vor - und geht diesmal von den mystischen Klängen hin zu afrikanischen. Delliponti nahm die neuen Stücke in Südafrika mit Musikern wie dem Duo Mafikizolo oder der kenianischen Gruppe Sauti Sol auf, die hymnisch-melodiösen Popsongs sind also diesmal mit afrikanischen Rhythmen und Gesängen angereichert - nachzuhören unter anderem auf der Single "Kuliko Jana - Eine neue Zeit". Das Album stieg auf Platz 4 in die deutschen Charts ein.
