No End a été enregistré à Cavelight, dans le propre studio de Keith Jarrett, dans le New Jersey, en 1986. Le disque était resté, jusqu’à ce jour, inédit. Il s’agit d’un enregistrement inclassifiable ou Jarrett joue de tous les instruments : guitares électriques, basse Fender, batterie, tablas, percussions, flûte à bec, piano qu’il avait réparti dans son studio de telle manière à passer naturellement de l’un à l’autre selon sa pure inspiration. Une véritable rareté sorti de ses archives où le pianiste démontre une fois de plus son immense talent.
