JJ DOOM
Following in the footsteps of Madvillain, Danger Doom, and DOOMSTARKS, the project JJ Doom is another collaboration featuring underground rapper MF Doom, this time with producer/MC Jneiro Jarel. Word of the project arrived in late 2011 as their track "Rhymin Slang" was previewed on the Web. In 2012, the final version of the track, remixed by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, landed on the Lex label's tenth anniversary compilation Complex, Vol. 1. The group's debut album, Keys to the Kuffs, landed on the label later in the year, featuring guest appearances from Blur's Damon Albarn and Portishead's Beth Gibbons.
