Enda
Enda had its beginnings when guitarists/vocalists/songwriters Valerie Moorhead and Jennifer Yee formed a band called the Vicious Sweet in high school. The band went through several other short-term members and released an album, entitled Obsessively Yours. When drummer Dan Aquino and bassist Joey Clark joined, the band renamed itself Enda and began building a following in the Bay Area. In 1999, they released their debut EP, Spacious. In 2001, they made the Top 50 in the Coca-Cola New Music Award contest, which spotlighted unsigned bands. In October of that year, they also spent a week in L.A., working on their first full-length album.
