Ashafar
Zakaria Abouazzaoui, known by his stage name Ashafar, was born on January 26, 1999 in Blaricum, the Netherlands. In his youth, his ambition was to become a professional footballer, but unlike his cousin Oussama Assaidi, he took a different path, that of music, when he met rapper Josylvio, who encouraged him to exploit his abilities. The man who goes by the nickname Ashafar, which means "thief" in Tamazight, was signed to Zonamo Underground in 2016 and released a debut EP the following year, Aanslag . In 2018, he released his first studio album, christened TAKEOVER . After joining Josylvio's label, Hella Cash, in 2019, he released two more EPs in quick succession: ASHA, which reached number two in the Dutch charts, and La Vie . The following year, he made guest appearances on "Mess" by artist Jack and "Medellin" by French rapper Larry. In 2020, he found success with Mocro Shit, which included collaborations with Mula B, Josylvio, Lijpe and 3robi. Helped by the singles "Ferrari" (no. 41) and "Coca " (no. 39), the album takes fourth place in the Dutch sales charts. Meanwhile, his duet with Boef on "Nooit Thuis" took the top spot, as did "Scooter" , which he also recorded in 2020 with Yssi SB and Qlas & Blacka. In 2022, he twice paid tribute to French soccer stars, on "Cantona" with 3robi (#79) and "Zidane", recorded with KA (#39).
