Im November 1990 spielte Neil Young mit seiner Band Crazy Horse im kalifornischen Club The Catalyst, um sich für die bevorstehende Tour zum neuen Album Ragged Glory aufzuwärmen. Das im Februar 2021 veröffentlichte Live-Album Way Down in the Rust Bucket fängt das Konzert vom 13.11.90 ein: Young und seine Gruppe schaffen es, gleichzeitig entspannt zu klingen und viel Rock-Energie zu produzieren, und sie bewegen sich mit viel Spielfreude durch den Großteil von Ragged Glory, werfen aber auch ein paar ältere Songs in die Setlist - zum Beispiel drei Songs vom Album Zuma (1975) oder zwei von Re-ac-tor (1981). Der Mitschnitt stellt damit ein interessantes Begleitalbum zum Live-Doppelalbum Weld (1991) dar, das die anschließende Stadiontour dokumentierte.
