Mit dem 2015 veröffentlichten vierten Studioalbum Day of the Dead legt die kalifornische Rap-Metal-Band Hollywood Undead den Nachfolger zu ihrer Anfang 2013 erschienenen Platte Notes from the Underground vor. Gleichzeitig ist es ihr erstes Album für das Label Interscope. Thematisch ist die Mischung aus Rock, Elektro-Pop und Hip-Hop diesmal einen Tick trotziger ausgefallen als zuvor, aber dafür kommt der Sound mit stärkerem Pop-Anteil daher; Songs wie "Party by Myself" und "War Child" haben einen starken Club-Einschlag, während Stücke wie "Gravity" oder "Usual Suspects" mit ihren eingängigen Melodien ebenso zugänglich sind.
