Toad the Wet Sprocket's 1994 song "Something's Always Wrong" could not have better summed up the band's scheduled in-store in Schaumburg. The group had planned to play a few acoustic songs, but the town's mayor cancelled the gig out of fear of -- who knows -- rioting pro-choicers. So Toad released this EP, dubbed Acoustic Dance Party, and channeled their energies that once incited mass hysteria into five great, stripped-down versions. One of the favorites of Toad fans with good reason, especially for the somewhat rare "Fall Down." A good match with Five Live. If listeners are ever in Schaumburg, turn it up to 11.
