Zachi
Rapper Zacharias, known as Zachi, is part of the hip-hop crew 01099 from Dresden-Neustadt, which was founded in 2018 and is named after the city's zip code. The members got to know each other during their school days and released their first EP Skyr in 2019. Their debut album Morgensonne (2020) failed to enter the charts, but Zachi's songDurstlöscher(2021), which he performed together with fellow rapper Gustav, brought their music to the attention of a wider audience. The song reached number 17 in Germany and number 60 in Austria, while the accompanying EP Dachfenster entered the German charts at number 9. Zachi enjoyed further success with his collaboration on the remix of the RIN song "1976". At the end of 2021, he was nominated for a 1 Live Krone as Best Newcomer Act with his 01099 colleagues Gustav, Paul and Dani.
