Selmon
The voice of the fictional musician Selmon is marketed by the US record label Universal Music and first appeared on the internet in 2020. The first single "Stoned & alone" was released in 2019, followed shortly afterwards by the remix of the same name with rapper Ufo361. Another track called "Tanzen" was released in the same year. in 2020, several songs were released on an internet platform, including " Digital", "Pretty", "Tik Tok", "Noch einmal" and "Los Angeles". The hit "Lonely" with Reezy, Macloud, Miksu and Bausa was released at the beginning of 2021. The song climbed to 3rd place in the charts in Germany, 11th place in Austria and 29th place in Switzerland. After a long period of speculation about who was behind Selmon's voice, Universal Music published a fictitious background story. It says that Selmon is an anthropomorphic bear who crashed with his spaceship and landed in the music studio Two Sides in the German capital Berlin, where he was given shelter by rapper Bausa. He has been recording various tracks with him ever since. The EP Molly with the single of the same name was released in January 2022. The single "Molly" is also a collaboration with Bausa and reached number 19 in the charts in Germany, number 78 in Switzerland and number 36 in Austria.
