Inspiré par le décès inattendu de son père, Narrow est le second album bien naturellement sombre de la chanteuse autrichienne expérimentale Anja Plaschg, plus connue sous le nom de Soap & Skin. Ce successeur à son premier disque de 2009 Lovetune For Vacuum, très bien accueilli par la critique, se compose de huit ballades mélancoliques tout en intensité et en intimité parmi lesquelles la cathartique « Vater » (chantée en allemand), le single « Boat Turns Towards The Port » et une version ténébreuse du tube des années 80 signé Desireless « Voyage voyage ».
