Neuvième album de studio, comme son titre l’indique, de Eros Ramazzotti, 9 est le disque d’un artiste en pleine maturité, et plus que jamais axé sur un registre de pop sentimentale aux fréquents accents rock.
Des titres excellemment composés et interprétés comme « L’Uomo che Guardava le Nuvole » ou très langoureux comme « Il Buoi ha i Tuoi Occhi », où Ramazzotti revient à un répertoire plus « latin lover », sont parmi les meilleurs moments d’un album dominé par le morceau « Un’emozione per Sempre », l’un des plus gros succès du chanteur, qui trouve là l’un des points les plus hauts de son inspiration pop-rock.
Si certains titres tendent un peu à se ressembler les uns les autres, il n’enlèvent rien au niveau de qualité d’un album très maîtrisé.
