Tyler Braden

A country-rocker with an expressive voice and an ear for hooks, Tyler Braden emerged in 2017 and found success two years later after signing with Warner Music Nashville and issuing a stirring cover of the Needtobreathe anthem "Brother." The Alabama native and former firefighter and first responder released his debut EP, What Do They Know, in 2021. The more rock-oriented Neon Grave appeared in 2023. Born and raised in Slapout, Alabama, Tyler Braden grew up singing in church and at family parties. He joined a rock covers band after graduating from high school, citing an eclectic array of influences, including Boyz II Men, the Chicks, Kenny Chesney, and Foo Fighters. Encouraged by friends to participate in a local music contest, he took home the top prize, resulting in a trip to Nashville for a recording session. The experience emboldened the budding artist, who had been working as a first responder in nearby Montgomery, to relocate to Music City, where he found work as a firefighter and looked to jump-start his career as a working musician. Early singles "Little Red Wine," "Leave Me Alone," and "Thank Me for That" caught the attention of Warner Music Nashville, who added Braden to their roster in 2020. His major-label debut, a cover of Needtobreathe's "Brother," arrived that same year and quickly began racking up streams. A string of well-received originals -- "Love Is a Dead End Road," "Secret," and "What Do They Know" -- arrived in early 2021, with the latter two tracks appearing on his debut EP, What Do They Know, later that year. Braden embraced his rock side on 2023's hard-hitting Neon Grave EP.
