SF9

South Korea boy band SF9 (aka Sensational Feeling Nine) is a nine-member group known for their high-energy, dance-oriented pop and rap. The group emerged in 2016 with the single "Fanfare" and 2017 full-length album Sensational Feeling Nine. In 2019, they landed at number three in Japan with their sophomore album, Illuminate. Formed in Seoul in 2015 by FNC Entertainment, SF9 feature leader, lead singer, rapper, and main dancer Youngbin, main vocalist Inseong, sub-vocalists Jaeyoon and Dawon, main-rapper Zuho, lead vocalist Rowoon, sub-vocalist/main dancer Taeyang, sub-rapper Hwiyoung, and sub-rapper/main dancer Chani. The group formed while appearing on the FNC Entertainment survival show NEOZ Dance which they won with their song "K.O." Following their time on the show, they released a three-track single "Feeling Sensation," which included the track "Fanfare." The group's debut EP, Burning Sensation, arrived in February 2017 and landed at number six on the Billboard World Albums chart. A second EP, Breaking Sensation, followed that April and they gave their first live appearances in Japan and the United States. In December 2017, they released their debut full-length album, Sensational Feeling Nine, which cracked the Top Ten in Japan. Two more EPs arrived in 2018 with Mamma Mia! and Sensuous, which were promoted by tours of Japan and South America. The band's sixth EP, Narcissus, appeared in early 2019, as did their second Japanese album Illuminate. Following 2019 tours of Europe and the United States, they issued the six-track RPM EP. Also in 2019, Rowoon made his acting debut in the MBC's television series Extraordinary You. In January 2020, SF9 released their first Korean studio album, First Collection, which included the track "Good Guy."
