RINNGS

Blending influences as diverse as Drake and choral music into forward-looking pop, London's RINNGS are the duo of Karl Zine and Nai Jannson. The pair were acquaintances and, after having time to talk on a transatlantic flight, realized they should be creating music together. With backgrounds in jazz drumming, conducting, and choral composing, they decided their music would be made with only layers of vocals and percussion, sampled and edited into unusual but soothing new forms. RINNGS' haunting debut single "Cutting the Cloth" -- which featured a vocal sample of one of their children -- was released in 2017.
