Preston Pablo

Canadian singer and songwriter Preston Pablo is known for his yearning, organic blend of pop and R&B. He broke through with his 2022 Hot 100 single "Flowers Need Rain." Raised in Timmins, Ontario, Pablo became interested in music at a young age listening to artists like Michael Jackson, Beastie Boys, and Justin Bieber. He eventually taught himself to play guitar and drums and by his teens was writing and recording his own songs. In his senior year of high school, he released his debut single "OMO," which went viral, racking up thousands of streams. More collaborative singles followed, including "Circles" with Fawlin and “When We Were Kids" with Zeegs. By 2020, he had released a handful of well-received tracks, including “One Sided," “She Tried It,” “Control,” and “Chargie.” He eventually signed with Universal Music Canada and in 2021 released the Banx & Ranx-produced “Don’t Break (My Soul).” Another single, "Flowers Need Rain," arrived in 2022 and hit number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
