Fatals Picards
Formed in 1996, comedy-punk ensemble Les Fatals Picards achieved a modicum of renown when they were a finalist in the 2007 Eurovision song contest. Singing with their regional accents, the band prides itself on lampooning the violence of rap and the commercialism of all other types of music. Their album Pamplemousse Mécanique, featuring their Eurovision-losing hit "L'Amour à la Française," charted at number 28 in 2007.
