Alpha Rev
Formed in 2005 in Austin, TX, Alpha Rev came together as the brainchild of singer/songwriter Casey McPherson after the breakup of his previous band, Endochine. Looking for a positive release from his own family tragedies, McPherson uses the band as an outlet for his inspiring and uplifting alternative rock. In 2006 Alpha Rev released a self-titled EP, and quickly followed up the next year with their full-length debut, The Greatest Thing I Ever Learned (originally released independently and then reissued in 2008 with a different track listing by Sea Change Records). After signing with Hollywood Records in 2008, McPherson and Alpha Rev entered the studio to work on their second full-length album, produced by the Grammy-winning David Kahne and released the album in 2010.
